The Land Facility (LF) is an FCDO global land governance programme, delivered by Tetra Tech International Development and Land Equity International.
LF advances effective, inclusive land governance solutions and systems to support countries to build resilience to climate and conflict.

Key features of the LF approach
- Technical expertise: We bring deep technical capabilities at the local, regional and global levels. Our practical experience spans analysis, evidence use, technical assistance, facilitated exchange and engagement and influencing strategies.
- Partnerships: We identify sensitive and strategic entry points in partnership with country governments and others to address land governance constraints and achieve shared objectives.
- PEA informed: Our approach to design and delivery is informed by ongoing political economy analysis.

Coordinating for impact
Land Facility collaborates with governments and other partners across sectors, bringing applied global experience to countries as they work to advance systemic reform at national, regional and local levels.

We help partners find entry points, shape incentives, and navigate change pathways, informed by political economy analysis and consideration of risks, costs and benefits.
Inform the planning, design and implementation of reform
We provide strategic, technical and operational inputs and work together with governments and other partners to enhance capabilities and identify resource needs and options, aligned with global standards and with context-relevant evidence.
Facilitate coordination and alignment on reform
We focus on needs within the land sector to achieve coherence and identify gaps, and across other sectors to assure the integration of land governance action in wider priorities. Through connection, exchange and practical coordination, we reduce silos within and between government entities, wider partners and stakeholders.
